“Breathing in, I calm body and mind. Breathing out, I smile. Dwelling in the present moment I know this is the only moment.”
Thich Nhat Hanh
The Essence
... YOGA
Yoga is often associated with aesthetic postures, strict alignment, and a singular idea of what is "correct." But true practice is about discovering what is appropriate for you in any given moment—an inquiry that constantly shifts as our lives and contexts change.
In time, we realize this isn't just true on the mat, but far beyond it.
Being in Yoga aims to be a steady guide and a supportive space, meeting you exactly where you are. Here, your life realities and unique choices take precedence, shaping a wellness path that belongs entirely to you.

Aishwarya Prithviraj
(C-IAYT, E-RYT 500)
Aishwarya is a yoga therapist and teacher whose work is shaped as much by lived experience as it is by formal training. Having navigated different countries, cultures, a corporate career, and shifting seasons of life, she deeply understands that well-being is never fixed—it evolves.
Her approach integrates traditional yoga philosophies, therapeutic insight, and deep listening to create practices that meet you exactly where you are. Passionate about women’s and children’s wellness, Aishwarya has extensive experience supporting individuals moving through chronic pain, hormonal transitions (from postnatal care to menopause), and mental health realities like anxiety and depression. For her, the practice is never about treating an isolated condition; it is always about honoring the unique context of the individual.
Aishwarya holds an advanced teacher training certification, specialized training in Yin and children's yoga, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy.
Smita Bhavnani
(C-IAYT, E-RYT 500)
Smita’s path to yoga therapy began when a severe accident and a profound personal recovery showed her firsthand the healing power of the practice. This transformative experience became the seed for her teaching, driving her desire to share holistic tools that help people navigate day-to-day physical and life challenges.
With a teaching range spanning ages 4 to 85, Smita is deeply dedicated to working with neurodivergent individuals and diversely abled children, including those with ADD, ADHD, Down syndrome, and autism. She also brings immense care to clients navigating complex health realities, from insomnia and anxiety to breast cancer recovery and metabolic health. Smita believes that yoga offers a practical, versatile toolkit for resilience, helping individuals reclaim agency over their bodies and minds.
Smita began her journey with advanced teacher training at Sivananda, later earning a Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy.

Our Shared Vision
Together, Aishwarya and Smita bring over 16 years of collective teaching and therapeutic experience. Both are rooted in the Krishnamacharya tradition, which treats the breath as the ultimate anchor—both on and off the mat.
As The Navigators, they are committed to continuous learning to keep their offerings relevant to modern lives. They believe the tools of yoga are not meant to exist in a vacuum. Instead, they actively bridge traditional yoga philosophy with broader forms of movement and physical wellness—such as strength training, functional fitness, and lifestyle design. By integrating these systems, they help you build an adaptable, resilient wellness journey that respects your life's realities.
